How to Bat the Right Way

Many of you think batting is just a simple arm movement but it's much more then that. It's a way of life in a game of softball. Batting the wrong way can result in a losing game. You have to bat with your legs, your hips, your whole body. First you must have all you weight on your back foot. Next, you must watch the ball without taking your eye off even for the slightest second. Then, when you are ready to swing you must keep you arms in tight; open your hips and make contact. While doing this you must keep all weight on the back part of your body and then boom you explode and hit the ball, the right way.

The Rules

There are many rules you must follow while hoping to succeed in the game Softball.
The rules include the following:
1. You must give 110% at all times. Don't give up on your coaches and they wont give up on you.

2. Play with ATTITUDE! No I don't mean back talking your coaches, I mean Talk bad about the players of the other team and think 'Hit the ball to me, I'm going to get you out!'

3. Don't COMPLAIN. If you complain about something and the coach hears its a very good chance your going to have to do it again. So , Do it right the first time with no excuses or complaining.

4. Don't ask to play a position. The coaches will put you where you are needed most. Remember all positions are important or why would they be there? Right?

5. Never argue with the ump. That's there job to make the call. Arguing with an umpire doesn't solve anything just makes it worse. One bad call usually doesn't tend to affect the final  score outcome.

6. Leave drama at SCHOOL. What happens at school stays at school. On the field your a team and need to play like one. Either resolve the situation or don't talk about it on the field.

7. Don't be late to games or practices. The way the coaches see it if you wanted to play then you would be there when expected so be on TIME.

8. Pay Attention. When the coaches are talking they expect you to listen. If you are talking the coaches assume you're not listening and that's disrespectful.
